Georgiou Apostolos

Apostolos Georgiou was born in Thessaloniki in 1952. He studied Architecture between 1971-73 at the Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst in Vienna and then at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence (1973-75) from where he graduated. He remains in Italy (Milan and Venice) until 1980 and then he returns permanently to Greece, where he lives and works to this day between Athens and Skopelos. His painting is anthropocentric and narrative and draws its subjects from people's everyday life.
